Poker dictionary - C to D
- Call - Matching the bet amount.
- Cash out - To leave a poker game and converting the chips into cash.
- Check - When it's a player's turn to act and there has been no action in front of him and he opts not to bet, he "checks". Made by saying "Check" or knocking on the table.
- Check-raise - When a player first checks and then raises in a betting round.
- Community cards - Cards dealt face-up in the middle of the table.
- Dealer - The person who handles the cards and gives out the pots. Can also be one of the players in the game.
- Deuces - Twos are also called Deuces.
