Poker dictionary P to Q

• Pair - Two cards of the same rank.
• Picture cards - Face cards (Jack, Queen and King).
• Pocket - The down cards or hole cards. Cards that no one else is entitled to see.
• Position - The position a player is seated in relation to the dealer.
• Post - When posting a bet, the player places his chips in the pot.
• Pot - The chips in the center of a table that all players try to win.
• Pot limit - This is a poker game where the maximum bet equals the pot.
• Quads - Same as Four of a kind.
