The river in Texas Hold'em

The river gives the fifth and last community card.

As the final common card the River in Texas Hold'em (also called the "Fifth Street") is turned up on the table. The River and The Turn are very similar but as you already might have guessed another couple of players have folded when The Turn did not produce the cards they had hoped for. The last bets are placed and then the person with the best hand wins the round. As you probably already know it is the player with the best hand that wins the pot.
